Established in 2026, PAUK was founded on the vision that all children have access to a fair start at education. We deliberately focus on especially rural, but also urban, schools with the understanding that while the settings differ, the need for stable, high-quality learning is universal.
As a newly established non-profit, our journey is about adapting to local needs. PAUK is powered by a commitment to innovation and leveraging technology to make educational resources accessible even in resource-constrained environments.
Alka Kumar was inspired to create PAUK by her father Dr. Badri Nayaran Singh’s life and legacy. Dr. Badri Nayaran Singh led a impactful career in education and served as the principal of Harish Chandra Post Graduate College from 1992 to 2001. PAUK honors and continues his commitment to education, learning and supporting students of all backgrounds.
